In late 2010, The Water of Life Home School Ministry, under the Change to Make A Change Program, made a donation to Sankofa to help orphans at the Royal Seed Home Orphanage in Accra, Ghana.

On March 2, 2011, Richard Willis, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sankofa, purchased, in Ghana, the items to be donated on behalf of the Water of Life Home School Ministry. The items included rice, cooking oil, toilet paper, soap, sugar, a cash donation, and more. On March 3, 2011, Mr. Willis made the donation to the Royal Seed Home. The Director, administrative staff, teachers, and children were very appreciative and thanked God for the donation. They expressed thanks to the Water of Life Home School Ministry by writing personal thank-you letters and reciting a poem.
